In any given day, there are millions of homeless animals sitting in shelters across the country, waiting to be adopted. Unfortunately, many of those animals will not make it out alive. Many of them are young, friendly and healthy, but there just is not enough time for them all to get noticed by a potential adopter. I have been volunteering my time each week for the past 8 years to photograph adoptable animals at a high volume shelter. Since the photos on a shelter's website can make the difference between whether or not a family will want to meet an available pet, I strive to show the true personality and beauty of every adoptable animal I photograph. If you are a local rescue or shelter in need of quality photos of adoptable animals, please contact me.
For long term shelter pets, I create surreal portraits of them to help get them some attention. 25% of the proceeds of these prints are donated to the shelter.
